A Long Beach pool night
without the LB shuffle.
Plenty of crews dine in Long Beach and rack in Lakewood — same metro, different pace. Good Times Billiards sits on Paramount Blvd, a straight shot north from North Long Beach and a quick eastbound move from Bixby Knolls, California Heights, or Wrigley.
The room runs 26 tables — diamonds and regulation 9-footers, real equipment, real chalk, real house cues. Weeknights feature APA, BCA, and USAPL league play; weekends bring rotation, date nights, and (occasionally) touring-pro spotlight events.
Pricing is per player, per hour with a 1-hour minimum, then by the minute. If you're a midweek-midday player from any of the LB neighborhoods, the $15 Early Bird Pool Pass (Mon–Fri 10 AM – 5 PM) is the cheapest pool in the metro.
Want to compare rooms before you commit? The Lakewood / Long Beach pool hall guide covers what to look for in a serious room — number of tables, league nights, house pricing, wait times — and where GTB lands on each.
